Britnie Bell teaches math on our team. This will be her 10th year teaching, fifth year teaching at Mill Creek. Miss. Bell graduated from Central Michigan University and earned a Master of Arts in Learning Design and Technology from CMU. Miss. Bell coaches 7th grade volleyball and is the assistant coach for the varsity track team. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family/friends, reading, watching sports, and getting outside.
Debbie Gallaher is excited to be starting her 19th year teaching at Mill Creek. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University, and her Master’s Degree in Teaching and Curriculum. She is married to her husband Mark, and has two daughters. Katelyn who turned 22 this summer and will be a senior at Eastern Michigan University this fall, and Maddie who turned 16 in the spring and will be going into 11th grade. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters and two dogs camping, boating, and just being outside as much as possible.
Nathan Konyndyk has worked in education since 2007 attending Western Michigan University and Aquinas College. After college he moved to Colorado, working in the Denver metro area, as a Special Education, Social Studies, and Alternative educator until 2023.
He and his partner Danielle have 2 girls 1 and 8 years old. Being a dad is the great joy of his life. He grew up with 2 brothers in Greenville, Michigan. This idyllic childhood on a blueberry farm is part of what he believes childhood, school, and growing up should be about healthy adventure, experiences, and learning. Dexter is a great place to be.
Marianne Mutschler teaches science on our team. This will be her 19th year teaching at Mill Creek. Mrs. Mutschler has a Master’s Degree in K-12 Educational Leadership from her alma mater, Michigan State (Go Green!). She enjoys spending her time after school with her husband and her six sons, ages 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, and 4. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, kayaking, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
Laura Saulles is starting her eighth year teaching English at Mill Creek. She has earned two master’s degrees: one in English from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and one in Education from the University of Michigan. Before she started teaching, Mrs. Saulles worked as a writer in the marketing and legal fields. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, creative writing, traveling, and kayaking.
